A Crosstalk-Friendly Signaling Method

Personal Note: This paper includes Steve Hall and Femi from Intel.

Overview: This paper introduce crosstalk harnessed signaling (CHS) which they propose as an alternative to Eigenmode/multimode signaling (which was new to me).  The primary downside to eigenmode signaling is that it requires a priori knowledge of the channel where CHS doesn't.  They base their analysis on using Hadmarad matricies just like chord signaling or CNRZ? from Kandou.

Impression:  Overall, it looks like interesting technology.  Perhaps I should include this as an encoder if I also implement the chord signaling scheme in my tools.

Questions: I wonder what the Kandou people think about this.
